Campus Ministry
This dynamic program is designed for our freshmen students to ease their transition into high school years. Beginning in October, the Peer Mentors meet every other week with all of the freshmen students to discuss pertinent issues confronting our society and young teens. The students form small communities consisting of two Senior Peer Mentors and 6-8 Freshmen Students. Topics such as the importance of belonging, identity, values, moral decision-making, and peer pressure are only a few of the concerns discussed when the Senior students meet with their freshmen mentees.

Senior students are invited to apply and be trained as Peer Mentors. In addition to the application and interview process, Peer Mentors must complete a two day twelve-hour intensive training course. Only fourteen of the Peer Mentor Applicants will be accepted and inducted into the Peer Mentoring Training Program. It is an awesome responsibility that is taken very seriously. All Peer Mentors pledge to uphold the philosophy and Mission of the school and to affirm the dignity of every student. Everyone in the group is treated with the utmost respect. Community and Hospitality, two of the cornerstones of the Benedictine Values, are instilled and lived through Campus Ministry.
