School Retreats are the Spiritual foundation of our school.  Every year, our Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Students eagerly look forward to participating in their school retreat.  The themes of the retreats reflect our Mission Philosophy to Listen, Learn, Love and Lead.  

1. In the Freshmen Year, our students listen with the ear of their heart to the One who loves them. The Rule of St. Benedict provides us with the blueprint of how to live the good life and be happy.
2. In the Sophomore Year, our students learn how beautiful and precious they are in God's eyes. Respect and reverence for one's self and each other are the guiding precepts in our school.
3. In the Junior Year, love has no bounds as they follow the Lord to the Upper Room in the washing of the feet. Serving one another in love is the theme.
4. In the Senior Year, our graduating students have an AMAZING TIME as they go to the seashore for an overnight retreat with the Lord as they prepare for the next part of their journey in life.  As leaders of the school, they leave behind their footsteps and their legacy for the underclassmen to follow.

Retreats are truly an enjoyable time for all as they come to know each other and the Lord more deeply in a spirit of friendship and prayer.

Benedictine Academy also has other planned events each year for the entire school community.  The goodness of the Lord has blessed us over the years with the Challenge Program, Tony Melendez, Frank Runyon, Hards as Nails, Roots of Tour, and Rev. Bill Paige!
