The work of the Development Office is to advance the institution through relationship building. Our fundraising projects not only generate financial support, they also help to build relationships. By educating constituents about our mission and inviting people to become involved with the Academy in whatever manner is comfortable to them, we provide opportunities for meshing their interests with the school’s mission. It is through our education efforts that people come to understand and care, give their wisdom, share their resources and enroll their daughters. Key Development Office personnel are: Sister Germaine Fritz, OSB, President and CEO, a Benedictine Sister of Elizabeth, NJ, and former Prioress of the Community. A 1954 graduate of Benedictine Academy, Sister Germaine was appointed Development Director in 1997, and became the head of school in 2003, when the Academy adopted the President/ Principal model. She is a true champion of the Academy! Contact her at 908-352-0670 x 107; email her at germaineosb@benedictineacad.org Rosemary H. Anderson, Director of Development, produces the publications of the Development Office: the Connections newsletter, Annual Report and Annual Appeal brochure, plus other promotional and advertising materials. She also coordinates most special events. Reach her at 908-352-0670 x 105; email her at randerson@benedictineacad.org Megan Rodriguez, Development Office Assistant, joined BA in 2008. Ms. Rodriguez is parent of an alumna. She manages the donor database and supports all the office’s activities. Call her at 908-352-0670 x 106; email her at mrodriguez@benedictineacad.org Mary Barbieri Young, a 1969 BA alumna, works as a Marketing Consultant.
