How to Apply

Application Process

The first step in applying to Benedictine Academy is to attend one of our Open House events or to call 908-352-0670 ext. 104 to receive an application and make your first appointment. 

9th Grade Students 
All applicants for 9th grade must complete the full admissions process in order to be offered a placement at Benedictine Academy. This includes: an application, the most recent three years of academic performance, the HSPT test results, two letters of recommendation, and the student should attend one of our Open House Events if they wish to be considered for Scholarship Consideration. 

10th and 11th Grade Transfer Students 
Students who wish to apply for 10th and 11th grade should contact the Admissions Office prior to submitting an application for a pre-screen process. Limited space is available for students entering those grades. 

Mid-year transfer students are welcome to apply through Grade 11; however, admission is limited and dependent upon space availability and the student’s academic qualifications and record of conduct. 

Checklist for Admissions

  • A completed Benedictine Academy Application 
  • Standardized Test Scores (such as; HSPT, PARCC & PSAT Scores, etc)
  • Transcripts from the previous 6th, 7th and first marking period 8th grade
  • Two Letters of Recommendation   

Important Dates

 

Friday, November 8, 2019  (8:00 am - 12:45 pm) HSPT Exam offered at Benedictine Academy

 

December 13, 2019 – Deadline for returning the 9th Grade Application and academic records to Benedictine Academy

 

January 16, 2020 – Benedictine Academy acceptance notifications mailed to 9th grade applicants

 

Rolling Registration begins on January 17, 2020
